InspireU Skegness is celebrating after winning the Learning and Development Provider Award at the 2025 Skegness Business Awards.

The team were recognised for their high-quality offer, strong community partnerships and commitment to helping learners thrive.

The Learning and Development Provider Award is presented to an enterprise that provides learning services in Skegness. Nominees must demonstrate consistently high quality and innovation in their offer. InspireU Skegness impressed the judges with its learner support, inclusive approach and the positive impact the team has across the local community.

Two InspireU learners were also invited to take part in the evening by handing one of the award envelopes to the judges and presenting a trophy to one of the winners. Their involvement was a proud moment for the whole team.

Emma Bird, Senior Lead at InspireU, said she was delighted by the recognition and proud of the team’s ongoing commitment to creating opportunities for young people in the area.

As part of the event InspireU Skegness also helped raise an impressive £1140 for the Heli-razor appeal during the weekend, running a raffle that drew widespread support from the local community.

The funds raised will contribute to the site’s ongoing support for the Heli-razor campaign.

The fundraising took place alongside the team’s award success, but was planned independently as part of InspireU Skegness’s wider commitment to community involvement and supporting local causes.
