InspireU is proud to have received the Biggest Contribution award at the Heli-raiser Class of 2025 Closing Awards Ceremony, recognising the outstanding fundraising efforts of our students.

The Post-16 Heli-raiser challenge ran over six weeks and brought together students from 11 organisations to raise money for Lincs and Notts Air Ambulance. Alongside fundraising, students developed confidence, teamwork and employability skills through a range of activities.

Together, participants raised an impressive £18,381 for the charity.

InspireU’s award reflects the dedication and commitment shown by our students throughout the challenge. InspireU would also like to congratulate University Campus North Lincolnshire, which received the Creative Impact award, and The Priory Witham Academy Sixth Form, which was recognised for Outstanding Team Effort.

We are extremely proud of all students who took part, and we would like to congratulate every organisation involved, including University Academy Holbeach, Lincoln College, Grantham College and University Centre, Acis Group, Boston Grammar School, Franklin Sixth Form College and Bishop Grosseteste University.

Mayor of Skegness, Jimmy Brookes, presents the award.
